How to make Widows and 'Orphans' Pension after the death of the Civil Pensioner?
- First obtain the death certificate of the pensioner and stop the pension.
- If there is more money, sending letters to the bank to bring it.
- Then informing the concerned person to bring the following documents
- Original copy of the death certificate of the pensioner
- Original copy of widow's birth certificate
- Original Copy of Marriage Certificate
- A photocopy of the widow's bank book
- A photocopy of widow's identity card
- A photocopy of Widow Orphan Card or Widow Orphan Number
- A passport size color photograph attested by the Village Officer
- All the photocopies of the above documents should be attested by the Village Officer.
- Then, after they provide the relevant information, take the file and make the necessary arrangements to make the widow's and orphan's pension.
Why pensioners have stopped their pensions?
- Cessation of pension for non-grant of life assurance for the relevant year.
- After the pensioner arrives, give the life certificate and ask the village officer to bring it for attestation.
- Later updation of pension on surrender of life certificate again.
